Dr. Brooks Barteaux
Dr. Barteaux was born and raised on a family farm in Birtle, MB, middle child of three siblings. He graduated from the Birtle Collegiate Institute in 2001, before moving on to a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Winnipeg majoring in Biochemistry. After that, Dr. Barteaux enrolled at the School of Optometry at University of Waterloo to pursue his Doctor of Optometry Degree. In 2009, he graduated on the Dean's Honour Roll and joined our practice in August. Dr. Barteaux was also recognized for his work in Low Vision Therapy.
Dr. Barteaux enjoys music, technology, fitness, history, travel, cooking, and horticulture. Dr. Barteaux is also continuing his High German studies. Currently, he is residing in Morden and looking forward to getting involved in the community.
Dr. Barteaux looks forward to seeing new patients, and is very excited to establish new relationships with Dr. Friesen's loyal patient base.
